All text is automatically copied to Clipboard for selections: there is no need to press Ctrl-C or Ctrl-Ins, or anything else. The actual pressing Ctrl-C will send a Ctrl-C in the Terminal window that call have an unpleasant effect. The only thing you need to do, to copy text to the Clipboard, is to select it with the mouse.
To paste the Clipboard contents into the window PuTTY, by default, you need to click the right mouse button. You can also insert buffer by pressing Shift–Ins.
CTRL + C to terminate the current command
CTRL + Z–stop current command prodolžt′ with fg in the foreground or in the background, bg
CTRL + D–razloginit′sâ, same as exit
CTRL + W–delete one word in the current line
CTRL + U–delete row
